Getting Around
Air Travel - India has an extensive air network and flying is often the best way to travel from one region to another. There are many domestic airlines which operate in India. The most popular airlines are Vistara, Air India, and "no-frills" airlines like Indigo, Spice Jet & Go Air. Most of them have young fleets of aircrafts and the planes are typically short haul Airbuses, new generation Boeing 737s, and ATRs.
In the event of delays or schedule changes or cancellations, Peirce & Leslie staff will do their best to ensure as small a deviation from the original itinerary as possible.
Train Travel - The Indian Railways system is the fourth largest in the world and serves 10.5 million passengers daily. In fact, no visit to India is complete without experiencing a train journey. You can safely forget media images of overcrowded suburban trains with people sitting on the roof. On a long distance express all seats and berths are reserved in advance and can be it's a safe, civilized, fun and comfortable way to get around India.
Road Travel - Travelling through India in a private sedan with a chauffeur is among the best and most convenient because it allows for tremendous flexibility.
Our chauffeurs are excellent, reliable and very familiar with all roads and driving conditions. Each vehicle is also supplied with an ice box stocked with mineral water and beverages
